Kintamani is a cool highland village. Usually tourist will enjoy the view of Mt. Batur and Lake Batur. There are some buffet restaurants with beautiful view of both mountain and lake.

Some philosophers and authors often describe lake as the earth’s eye. What makes this Lake Batur so special is that from Lake Batur you could rent a boat to visit Trunyan Village.
Trunyan is an ancient village of the “Bali Aga” people. They have a different way of living than common Balinese. Their temple is named Puser Jagat, meaning Navel of the Universe. Its architecture is quite uniquely built under the protective shade of a massive banyan tree.
The Bali Aga has a strange way of burial. Instead of cremating the corpses, they simply places them under this banyan tree. The odor is mysteriously masked by a special arboreal fragrance emitted by the banyan tree.
I didn’t visit the Trunyan Village in this trip because I didn’t feel like seeing bones and skulls

Going to this kind of place is so relaxing as you will be one with nature.
To experience the height and the cooling weather there must be awesome experience
