I’m a novice at photography, and I’m always on the lookout for subjects to practice shooting on.

I like taking pictures of people, but most human beings get quite irritated after a while if you keep pointing your camera at them. So I turn to animals. Dogs are too energetic, they stress me out. For me, cats are the best subjects.

I love the way they can sit still and not move. And hold an intense look on their faces.

This cat is gorgeous! And yes, they do make the best animal photo subjects (I am a little biased though…)

You’ve captured her fur details nicely. I like dogs personally, but I don’t mind cats too :)

I agree with you that cats are good subjects in photography. Just look at how they can portray in front of a camera and impress you after taking your shot!

What a superb photo capture!

That’s the reason nature is my main and good subject in photography.

She always pose for me, patiently.

For being a novice you’ve taken a pretty darn good photo. I found that anything with the ability to move will most likely do so if I have my camera in my hand

Great photo of a pretty kitty. Cats do make excellent subjects.

Thanks everyone! Cats are indeed wonderful subjects. I have to admit though that I took many shots of this little kitty, and it gave me a dirty look at the end before trotting off. Haha!
