Dramatic Moon

by alexa on February 5, 2010

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” [Matthew 5:16]

I’d never realize that clouds, moon, and night can make a great collaboration :)

Wow… this is a really great shot, alexa. would you share on the settings u used for this shot please? I’m struggling with shooting sunsets and peekaboos of the sun or moon like this.

@VS: not to worry about the wolves, it safe around here :lol:
@Wenn: thanks :)
@Betchai: it will be more dramatic if I can hear the sound of coyote :D

That is a stunning photo. The first thing that came to mind was a symphony, I’m not sure why but it just reminds me of a musical collaboration, though dark it’s gorgeous.

It’s amazing how many bloggers are posting pictures of the moon this week! Fantastic shot, I love how it’s peeping through a gap in the clouds.

@Joanne: yours is symphony and mine was like: Indian?
@John: The moon is just to pretty to be missed, and it’s a full moon too, what can I do? I just can’t let it pass

Moon is always something mystical, mysterious. This picture recalls the old days and stories about vampires and the full moon.
