Good morning lovely people! Sunshineee!!!
Today we going to talk a bit about kayak.
A kayak is a small human-powered boat. It has a covered deck, and a cockpit covered by a spraydeck also known as a skirt.
In United Kingdom, kayaks are referred to as canoes and vice versa.
Kayak compartment
Traditional kayaks typically accommodate one, two or occasionally three paddlers who sit facing forward in one or more cockpits below the deck of the boat. If used, the spraydeck or similar waterproof garment attaches securely to the edges of the cockpit, preventing the entry of water from waves or spray, and making it possible, in some styles of boat, to roll the kayak upright again without it filling with water or ejecting the passenger.
The drawback for kayak is, when the water gets in, we have to manually turn it upside down and cleared the water. It is quite heavy even for adult man to do that alone.
Any of you tried this water sport before?

I’d love to try this out, but I can’t swim very well. So I stay away from any situations where I might drown. I’d still love to be able to do this though.
Ratty: You have to wear floating vest most of the time. So it is very safe even you can’t swim. Go and try!
I can’t swim so I stay away, far, far away from water-related sports. (I almost drowned when I was a lil girl). But I can watch from afar or on TV!
haha! even with life vest, i think my hubby will never give it a try.
Like Nessa, I can’t swim, so I stay away from this one.. really nice bright orange..
Oh my goodness, I thought I’m the only one that can’t swim! Beautiful shots of the kayak, but I’ll stay on the shore too
I am not the one who like water. I rather prefer hiking.
What? All my lovely reader don’t like water sport?
Come on, water sports lover! Show us that you are exist!
pics are great…I have to say I have never been kayaking…the thought of capsizing horrifies me…(shudders).
Kayaking sounds like fun. I should try someday …
nice picture, sounds like fun..
You know I like to kayak!
Most kayak rental shops have kayaks that are self-bailing (they don’t fill with water) and are very difficult to capsize. Usually, these are also the cheapest to rent…
Love the photos too!
