Little India-Midnight Tailor

When I was travelling around Little India area in Singapore, I bumped into this lonely Indian lady, doing her work late at night.

She was taking a breath when she saw me holding camera in front of her.

Immediately I gave her sign language, pointing to my camera and to her. She just smile and nodded.

I quickly took this photo…

Midnight Tailor

After that I gave her a thumbs up, bowed slightly thanking her and both of us returned to our separate own world.

Sometimes night time is a very good time to carry out some undisturbed work. It is in the quietness of the night that one can truly concentrate and listen to one’s heart.

Love this photo. Outside in the night it appears lonely. Then the colrful, brightly lit interior is so welcoming.
