Send Me To Korea (2) : Vivaldi Park Resort

Vivaldi Park is a ski resort in winter and golf resort in summer and autumn.  It has 3 apartment style hotel buildings, i.e. Oak, Pine, and the newest Maple.  We stayed at Maple.  The room is apartment style for one family (or 4 persons).  It has 2 twin beds, small kitchen, dining table, toilet, and one small tatami style room for 2 persons.  I slept in this tatami bedroom. It is warm and comfortable during winter as the flooring is heated by electric wires (heating flooring).

In winter, all these slopes are white covered with snows.  It must be fun for skiers to enjoy the various slopes.

Other facilities in this area are golf course, sledding slope, game and playrooms, discotheques, singing rooms / karaoke, Korean and Western restaurants, pizza parlors, cafetarias and coffee shops, snack bars, supermarkets, barber shops, beauty salons, and large meeting halls.

alexa, vanilla : wanna go together? how about “korean drama lovers” tour?

Nicole, wenn : Mountains and hills are beautiful. Yes, it’s a wonderful trip.

rainfield : This resort is always fully booked during winter.

Tanya : This area is good to grow ginseng instead of veggies. Ginseng needs 6 years to grow before harvest. After that the soil needs to rest for another 14-15 years. That’s why ginseng is expensive and ginseng farms all over South Korea are all managed by government.

ann : Yes, this resort is suitable for family to enjoy.
