Send me to Korea (1) : Autumn Leaves

Two weeks ago I went to South Korea.  It was early autumn.  According  to my Korean friend, autumn is the best time to visit Korea, because of nice weather — not too hot and not too cold.

For those who live in two season country, like me,  actually four seasons are all best.  In spring we could see cherry blossoms, in winter we have snow, and in autumn we would see  maple leaves in autumn colors – yellow, orange, red, brown.

Each of the four seasons do have their own unique beauty. It’s up to us to see it, but that’s sometimes difficult in the colder seasons.

If observe carefully, we can find the “similar” leaves in our rwo-seasons country, the rest is up to our imagination. lol.

Although I crab and complain about the cold and snow, I cannot imagine living where we don’t have four seasons. Each is lovely in its own way, it is also nice to have a change every few months.

  6. These are lovely. I now live in an area where we do get all 4 seasons but they are all very mild in transition and Autumn and Winter do not last for long. It’s very strange here.

In January, we may have an ice storm or light snow on one day, or, even just in the morning and be up to &0 degrees by afternoon.

I am itching to go to Maine and get some shots. but, we can’t afford the flight right now!!

    Happy day!!

  7. Huuummm….that would be 70 degrees Fahrenheit! Sorry about that I am on my first cup of java this morning!!:-)

I have lived in both two-season and four-season continents. I think I prefer the two-season, though. I do enjoy the leaves in the four-season and your photos here are especially lovely.

I love the autumn colors, your leaf pictures are great, I especially like the first one. Here we have 4 very distinct seasons and the one I love the most always seems the shortest. But each one does offer something beautiful and unique

    Thanks all.
    Every season has it’s beauty.
I love beautiful sunshine in summer.

for practicality, I like having just two seasons. No hassle of needing to store away the winter/summer clothes.

But I love the autumn colour the best.

The scene during autumn is really nice, but yet to have chance to experience one……..

    Have a nice day!
