Some people do sports or traveling, while the others enjoy reading books or watching their favorite movies. Some even could make a living by doing one of their hobbies, while the others feel satisfied if they can catch up with their hobbies during their free time.
I do enjoy taking photos, reading -novel mostly, world history sometimes, as much as I also love watching a tons of Asian series, spending hours in front of the internet, singing to the music and dance or just sit and wasting time looking at the scenery outside the window. And as I remember.. back in my school days.. when at that time movie was just too expensive for me and internet not even invented, and I was stuck with philatelic hobby, stamp collecting
Time flies. What are your favorite activities when spam was still a popular term for canned meat and notebook still made of paper?

Back in my school days, I loved correspondence and in line with it, I loved collecting stamps, postcards, and coins from all over the worlds. I still keep them
My favorite things then?
Mainly reading and being out in nature.
I still love those and do them today. I just added Photography to it
Amazing collections. I don’t think I have one.
One of my fav those days was playing paper dolls… one really have to make (draw) them including the dresses, bag and shoes but they don’t last very long.
I used to collect stamps too. Now they’re in the drawer gathering dust… sighhh
I was into philately also years back. I donn’t where are they now. Maybe worth a house if I managed to sell it now?
I enjoy collecting stamp when I was a kid. Your post remind me that day. Thanks
I used to collect flowers, and leaves to dry! I also had a stamps collection book, but it’s lost somewhere now!
Wow, it seems I’m not alone at collecting stamp

I’ll store the flowers inside the thick book and leave it dry
@Nicole: reading -yes, me too -as I said, novel mostly, but I also read
hundred series of martial arts comic
@Nessa: I love that paper dolls too!! Yeah, it’s sad that they don’t last very long
@Icy: I did that too
thanks for the comment, guys!
I used to collect first day cover, but has stopped, however I do buy some stamps while I have my visit to other countries.
There’s a darker side to this observation for me. I would prefer to be making things (sometimes art) as this has “entertained” me since I was very young (and supported me often!)….but the internet and a computer often eats away enormous chunks of my time….if I let it!! I could call the computer dangerous but oh so compelling! I love to look at the collections of other people, however: stamps, insects, rocks, dolls, whatever! It’s really interesting. And stamps are often tiny works of art.
I remember my brother collecting stamps when we were kids. Yours in a much nicer looking collection than I remember his being. I’ve always liked to make things (crafty crafty) I’m like willoaks though the computer is dandergous for me too
I miss lazy days cozied up with a good book!!
Collecting stamps has always been an interesting idea to me. I never did it myself because I was too afraid of losing them all.
@willoaks studio: insect? I pass
@ann: mine is nicer? lol. thank you
@Shinade: yeah, I miss that lazy cozy days too
@Ratty: you should try it sometimes, and store it in an album so you won’t lose it
I collected stamps long time ago, i still have it in my drawer hehe. I love photography and i’m into digital scrapbooking as well.
