Good morning everyone!
I presented to you, two sisters of violet water lily. I found two of them at the floral garden nearby my home.
I wish I can take a top shot of these beauties, but then I have to dip in the knee high pond in order to take it.
Oh well, I rather preserve the nature balance in the pond than satisfy my craving for a great shot
Anyone ever went to that extend or even more just to get the picture you want?
I knew few of my friends like betchai was lying on the dirt just to snapped a flower shot, Ratty had intense fight with evil squirrels, rainfield was rolling in the mud to get mushrooms, Jackie was speeding with her truck on the highway while taking picture (kids, don’t try this at home!)
and much more! Share with us your moment!
Water lilies are divided into two main categories: hardy and tropical. Hardy water lilies bloom only during the day, but tropical water lilies can bloom either during the day or at night, and are the only group to contain blue-flowered plants.

great capture even if you didn’t go all the way.
Such a sweet flower! Seems so exotic to me as there just aren’t any flowers in our water here at WillOaks! About photography? I’m on my knees, on my behind, all kinds of contortions to try for the right angle for a shot!

I feel so satisfied after those crazy acts, just for the pictures.
I always tell myself, I can do it as well.
Great shot, and beautiful flower!
Love the flowers. I’ve been on the ground but never in any mud or water to get a shot.
love the effects…..:)
btw, thanks for being my #1 dropper last month! much appreciated!
Oh how pretty and so delicate.
Very nice photo!
Great photo of the flowers, and I am also fascinated with the lily pads. I wouldn’t go into the pond either. And it’s always fun to be mentioned. Thanks!
Great shot! Congrats!
