The Tawangmangu Roadtrip
Located at the west slope of Mt. Lawu, Tawangmangu is one of the tourism place in Central Java, Indonesia. I usually pick this alternate route on my way from Madiun to Solo instead the crowded and normal road.
Up and down slopes.. I have to drive more carefully because the track are narrow and dangerous, but with the beautiful scene of volcanic Mt. Lawu that standing all around 3,265metres (10,712ft) and the fresh air along the way are surely Tawangmangu worth the trip!

East Java has a lot of vulcanoes and they are worth to visit.

I was wondering when my Singaporean friend got time to visit this place since he is so busy…

@ krizzcross: I think the house in the first pict is not a guest house. maybe a private villa or villager’s house. because the guest houses usually located bellow this route.
