My childhood memories are bekel, kelereng/gundu/marbles, congklak/dakon. Those are Traditional Indonesian Children’s Games.
I wish I could turn back time to those wonderful days …. Thanks, Alexa.
My childhood memories are in my heart, and I make sure to share them with my children through little stories told when the occasion presents itself, and the storybooks I have created about my life.
One of my best childhood memories is going to the beach with my family with us kids on the back of this 3 wheel small truck( I was born and raised in Italy). We had so much fun!
Your ball made me think of our family’s involvement in our local football (soccer) club. Many of my childhood memories revolve around that. I’m also fixated about the sea, which was a constant presence until I was 17. I remember days on the beach, swimming from the steps when the tide was in, and having to go winkle picking every time our gran came to tea, because she loved to eat them.
First I LOVE that picture.
We were just talking at work the other day about the games we used to play when we were kids. My whole neighborhood used to get together to play red rover.
I remembered I used to have plenty of colorful marbles…
You play soccer Alexa?

My best childhood memories are the ones I am creating as an adult. I didn’t like myself enough to enjoy my childhood, but I do now.
