The most expensive furniture in the 20th century?

Wanna know the most expensive furniture ever been on auction in this 20th century ? Here is “The Dragon Armchair” aka “The Eileen Gray Chair” that was owned by Yves Saint Laurent and now purchased by an art collector named Cheska Vallo. The bidding price started at US$2.5M-US$3.8.

Guess how much is the ending price? No google-ing please, this is just for fun! Please leave your answer on the comment box below.

Answer will be announce on the next post =)

Now Im curious, when you all guess between 18M-28M, was it because you think it deserves to worth that much or just lucky guess?
As for me personally, I think it is quite a ridiculous price for a chair… maybe the main factor was because of the previous owner’s name…
